Matt Tennyson and Matt Irwin are doing just that. Tennyson, paired with Brenden Dillon, has averaged 20 minutes and 24 seconds of ice time the last three games. Irwin, meanwhile, has rediscovered his offensive touch, as he has a goal and two assists in that same span.
Sharks coach Todd McLellan said Sunday that Irwin has just been steady. There isn t a high and a low in his game. Just making the right plays and moving the puck. He looks comfortable and confident and I think our group looks comfortable and confident with him, too.
McLellan added that it was tough for Irwin, 27, to break into the lineup how to get rid of acne in the middle of December when the Sharks were carrying eight healthy defensemen. how to get rid of acne But Irwin was more of a regular in January after Mirco Mueller came back from the World Junior how to get rid of acne Championships with an upper body injury. how to get rid of acne
McLellan said Irwin has spent a lot of extra time working with Jim Johnson on foot speed this season. We re seeing signs of improvement, which is a really good thing. For a player how to get rid of acne his age to continue to show the improvement how to get rid of acne and refine his skills is excellent.
Tennyson, meanwhile, how to get rid of acne has dressed for every game with the exception of two since he was recalled from Worcester on Dec. 11, when Marc-Edouard Vlasic sat out a game with an upper body injury. Tennyson, 24, has five points in 19 games, but is another player that right now, doesn t seem to get rattled how to get rid of acne very easily.
He s fitting in, feeling comfortable, the same confidence attributes we talked about with Matty Irwin, McLellan said. The fact that he s a right-handed shot also helps with Brauny going out, bumps him up a little bit, power play time.
We want them confident, we don t want them completely comfortable all of the time. They know they have to continue to battle to stay in the league and to keep their spots. But both Matty and Tenny have done a good job.
“We felt pretty comfortable by the end of it,” Dillon said Monday. “Anytime you’re playing against top lines of other teams, how to get rid of acne you’re going to give up some chances, but at the same time, you just want to limit the Grade-A ones.”

I think this, and of course Sutter and DL will get a pass this season, and probably next if things don’t move along well enough. I said as much a few weeks ago when they weren’t doing so well then.
So, it’s not semantics at all. It’s about the media and needing a story to write about or anyone that jumps to conclusions without knowing anything — hence the HockeyBuzz comment I followed it up with.
I think those that have understood what I usually comment about read my musings and understood them likely got this one right away, especially after the follow up I had regarding HockeyBuzz. Or at least would have asked “what are you really talking about?”
Before the 7 game home stand started I posted a comment saying that if we got 10 out 14 pts, it would be the status quo. 11 or more, a success, less than 10, and we’re losing ground. On that date before it started, we were 2nd in the Pacific, 9 behind Anaheim, 2 above Vancouver. After 10 pts in 7 home games, we are 9 pts behind Anaheim, and 2 above Vancouver. Hellooo Status Quo! We need to better at home to move up, because it will be hard to get 10 out of 14 on the road.
